Discover open group activities on a live map, see who's already going, and join in a tap - built specifically to make that first "yes, I'll show up" easier, not harder.
What it does
Find a group activity near you, or start your own
Every open Crossroute shows up as a pin on a real map with a colour-coded capacity ring, live weather, and who's already joining. No group to join yet? Build one in a few minutes: pick a route, set a pace, and invite participants directly or leave it open to anyone nearby.
Why we built it
What we want to achieve with Crossroutes
Every decision in this app comes back to one question: does this make it easier for people to actually get out together? That's the whole point - not another feed to scroll, a bike computer, or a training-plan app.

Connecting people who want to get out together
Finding a group activity shouldn't mean already knowing the right people. Crossroutes puts every open Crossroute near you on one map - the connection happens because you both showed up, not because you already knew each other.

Letting clubs reach further than their member list
A Club page gives an existing club a real presence on the map, a shared tag its members carry everywhere, and club-hosted Crossroutes that can reserve seats for members while still being genuinely discoverable by anyone nearby who's curious to try one for the first time.

Making it obvious when your friends are out
Add friends inside the app and their Crossroutes surface ahead of everyone else's - a shared history of every ride and run you've done together, right there on their profile.

Helping you meet new people who share the hobby
Not everyone on a Crossroute with you today is a friend yet. Suggestions surface nearby group activities that match your pace, distance, and free days - a low-pressure way to meet other cyclists and runners in your area who happen to move at the same speed you do.

Lowering the barrier to showing up for your first Crossroute
A free account, a map you can read in one glance, and a join button that just works - no gatekeeping, no forum thread to decode, no group chat you have to ask to join. The whole app is built so the hardest part of a group activity is the activity itself, not finding it.
Our vision
Crossroutes exists because organizing a group activity is usually harder than it needs to be - buried in group chats, scattered across apps that were built for something else, or gatekept behind a club you'd have to already know about. We think showing up with other people should be as easy as opening a map. Built and run by one person out of Germany, on infrastructure we own ourselves - no ad network, no data broker, and no incentive to keep you scrolling instead of getting out there.
